Very cool to have an in-person trade. Even cooler that it was with another member of TCZ. Like you, I haven't traded in-person since trading with the kid across the street when I was in elementary school. We used to trade our cards back and forth all the time. Then when we got older we started playing poker for them. See, this hobby was a gamble even back then!

I have an orange parallel #d/35 of this card incoming. Should get here in a day or two. Thought it would be here today Tuesday. It is coming from CA and left there on the 9th according to the tracking #.
The odd thing about this Purple one is the listing was a little confusing: The Auction title said it was the purple parallel and the picture agreed but the description mentioned it was an Orange #d/35 parallel. I gambled that it was a case of the seller using the same generic description for all his cards and only changing the title and maybe the picture. I was right this time. Not a gamble I want to take too often but in this case I felt pretty good about it.

Thursday 14 August 2014: Got the latest issue of The Wrapper #285 cover 1950 Bowman Wild West.
I love the in person trade, meeting so many folks up at the Nationals was pretty cool.
ON Friday 22 Aug 2014: I got a lone package. A small priority mail box from Ebay for $39.95 BIN + $5.00 (a deal for this particular set which I've seen often start at twice as much)
2012 Rittenhouse Warehouse 13: Season 3 26 card Base Set.
My beefs with these Warehouse 13 sets from Season 2 on is the base set is only 26 cards (2 card per episode it seems) that are limited to only 250 or so they say.
At first I was disappointed at least for the Season 3 set that they printed the back of the card upside down from the front but actually come to think of it when they are in an album oriented so that the top of the card is on the left of the page they will flip correctly.
Now I need to get Seasons 2 and 4 part one they haven't printed a part 2 yet that I know of or a Season 5 (the final season) yet.

ON Wednesday 10 Sep 2014: I got a package of 50 Redskins cards from a collector who had contacted me via email I guess a reader of my blog? There were some 2000 Donruss Quantum Leaf a couple of years of Leaf Rookies and Stars some 2008 Score, 2011 Score, 2013 Score, and a few different Leaf Certified even a few Topps mini stickers, UGH. Players like Michael Westbrook, LaVar Arrington, a Darrell Green, Antwaan Randle El, RGIII, Brian Mitchell, Brad Johnson, Champ Bailey and others.
In return I'm supposed to send out some modern Topps Baseball. At first he wanted only 1984 and 85 Topps but I don't have a whole lot of those years or doubles of them, there are other years he will accept and in the last email he mentioned 1995 to present will be OK. I'm assuming only Topps Flagship though which makes it a little difficult since I have tons of Upper Deck and Donruss and Topps Chrome or Topps Archives or Heritage or Bowman. It will take a while to recipricate this one. So far I have gathered 50 some Topps from 2011-current mostly 2013 Updates. I might gather some other stuff but it is slow going with my lack of motivation (Lazy) and procrastination. I wasn't really thrilled with the "trade" to begin with I tried to avoid it. Maybe I'm just being a jerk about it right now. I don't like to disappoint people though. I feel bad if I feel I have gypped them eventually the feeling goes away but it lingers while I'm filling my end of the deal plus a week or two after sending the package off.
