Redfoster (Zach) will be making a nice thread about everything when these initial changes installs etc are done, but, quick not regarding photos. There is a photos button at top of screen that uploads to a site photoblog, you can add your own (we moderate to approve by default will change later), and these are what you see randomly at top. Users also can create their own albums, that people who visit your profile can see (or not if you make them private where only friends/mods can see). Those do not show up in photo blog.
