No John Abraham on Pro Bowl roster??

I know I'm a Falcons homer, but have I missed something? My assumption was that Abe would be in the mix for Defensive MVP, yet he misses out on the Pro Bowl.

Jared Allen is great. But has Tuck and/or Peppers had better seasons than Abraham??

Oh well. I'm sure he'll make it once somebody pulls out. I guess the fan voting bit him, since there's only about 3 Falcons fans.

Abraham should be starting with Allen. It is a shame.

I'm glad that you are not complaining about Matt Ryan not making it. I've heard enough of that today from Falcons fans.

Nah, Ryan doesn't earn the Pro Bowl this year. For a rookie QB, he's been as close to perfect as you can get, but that doesn't translate into a Pro Bowl... yet.

I believe he's an alternate and that's about right... he's probably the 5th-6th best NFC QB.

I agree that Abraham has had a great season but my only suggested reason might be the fact that the Falcons only utilize him on about 60% of downs to keep him from wearing down. He's a great player, but he's become a pass rush specialist whereas the other 3 are playing every down. I think he is as deserving as Tuck or Allen though. He is a beast when he's in. The only one that deserves no chance of being left out IMO is Peppers. I'd say Allen and Abraham are toss ups. Allen has the benefit of a much better d-line caliber of teammates.
