when you were in attendance.

Two off the top of my head.

1. Watching Rohan Davey put LSU football back on the map with an upset victory over Tennessee in overtime (first big win of the Saban era)

2. Watching Tim Rattay run out the clock on the Alabama goal line as we beat Alabama for the first time on their homecoming.

3. Watching Karl Malone (La Tech) and Joe Dumars go at it in the old Southland Conference, Dumars almost went to Tech, could you imagine the power they would have been in college?

I think it was the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons for Butler Basketball. UW-Milwaukee and Butler were battling for the conference title. The first year, UW-Milwaukee came in and hit a 25 foot buzzer beater to win. It is quite the strange feeling to have a sold out building of rabid fans, but the only people you hear are the 200 or so visiting fans and their team. The following year, last regular season game, Butler hit a running three at the buzzer to win the league title. I work the shot clock for the Butler games, and with 1.2 seconds left, I promised myself that I would stay calm no matter what happened. Butler hit the shot, fans stormed the court, people are going bonkers everywhere, and there I stood there, just soaking it all in. It was a one of a kind experience that can't be matched.

And I worked the shot clock for the 2006 Final Four here in Indy. Even though the games stunk, just to be involved in an event that huge was awesome.

By far, I enjoyed Todd Foster and Brian Cardinal's hustle and selfless defense in the mid 90s. Diving for balls, going up in the stands routinely, taking charges, I just loved that. I remember Foster had wanted to go into bullriding after he finished collee, but I was glad to see he was an assistant coach somewhere.

In football, I don't recall any one moment, but Stu Schweigert and Vinny Sutherland always seem to change the tide of the game with just one play. I always loved that. I was so disappointed when Vinny did not pan out in the NFL. Hmmm, just thought of something. Both these guys also like to get their drink on. :salut:

I always liked the way Cardinal played...but never in a million years would I have thought he could make millions in the NBA.

1- Boston University beating Drexel in the America East final to make the NCAA tournament after losing to Drexel the prior two years.
2- Jamal Mashburn's senior night at Kentucky.
3- Vermont upsetting Syracuse on that ridiculous TJ Sorrentine three pointer. "From the parking lot."

1) America East Championship 2006 where Albany beat VT to make it to their first ever NCAA tourney. Then giving UConn a scare in the first round.

2) UAlbany beating Vermont on their home court this year to win the America East Champ game.

Here are mine, highlights links included.

1) Arizona Basketball 2005 Chicago Regionals - Sweet 16: Salim Stoudamire hits the game winner over Oklahoma St. to send my Arizona Wildcats to the Elite 8. Too bad the next game was an absolute heartbreaker the other way around. I love going to the Tourney.

2) 2001-02 Arizona vs. UCLA: Was my freshman year at UA, and the Cats came back from 18 down to win. Only time I ever got a chance to rush the floor in 4 years there. That is about 5:30 into this highlight clip.

Warren Morris GW HR in the bottom of the 9th in '96 or '97 to win the CWS for LSU.

Jeff Capel 1/2 court shot vs. UNC in '95 on espn2.

Those are two that immediately jump to my mind.

Illinois coming from 15 down with 4 1/2 minutes left against Arizona in the Elite 8 to send the game into overtime and eventually win (sorry Mike :))

1998 Arkansas at Tennesee

I was at the game in the pouring rain, Tennessee was losing 24-22 with under two mins left in the game. I decided that if Tn didn't do anything on their four downs I was leaving.

Walking up the steps of Neyland Stadium watching the next play Arkansas's QB Clint Stoerner drops back stumbles and fumbles the ball. UT gets the ball, Travis Henry rushes the ball a few times and scores a TD, Vols win the game and go on to win the National Championship!

-Watching Herb Tyler and Abram Booty run out the final seconds as LSU defeated a #1 ranked team for the first team against Florida. (helped pass the goal posts to the top of Tiger Stadium.

-LSU defeating UT in the SEC Championship. The Vols took a cheap shot on Rohan out of bounds and Mr. Mauck came in and finished them off:salut:

1. 1996 Alabama/awbarn game. After jumping out to an early 17-0 lead, it was all awbarn until the final drive. The offense was performing so pitifully, security was alreadFreddie Kitchens led the team down the field and helped win the game on this play:

2. Growing up in Tennessee, and with the dominance they had over Alabama in most of my lifetime, the 2005 Alabama/puke orange game was an extremely special game. From Roman Harper's hit that forced a ut fumble out the back of the endzone (and stopping a TD), to DJ Hall's incredible 3rd down catch, and Jamie Christensen's field goal at the end, there couldn't have been a more exciting script:
