A box will be mailed out containing ONLY football cards.
The box will be made up of:
(15) autograph cards
(25) game used cards
(25) numbered inserts/rookies
The box will be mailed to someone on the sign-up list.
They will take the cards they want, then replace them with a like item.
(An auto for an auto, a GU for a GU).
They will scratch their name off the sign-up list & mail it forward to the person of their choosing.
FACTS: currently the box weighs 1lb 8oz.
At that weight, approximate postage is as follows:
PRIORITY mail flat rate: $8.95
PRIORITY mail (own box): $4.90
PARCEL regular mail: $4.80
MEDIA mail (if you can get it): $2.47
You must be able to mail it forward within a week of receiving it.
It is HIGHLY suggested you get "tracking" to confirm that you mailed it in case of loss.
If the box gets "beat up" - you are responsible to re-pack it.
I'll be the last person on the list, and it should return as it was sent out:
(15) autograph cards
(25) game used cards
(25) numbered inserts/rookies
HINTS: if you want to add an extra "free" card for a person you are mailing it to; make sure to label clearly.
PLEASE do not take advantage of the game.
Do not take a $40 auto & replace it with 1997 PRO LINE junk.
Try to keep or improve approximate book value, etc.
There might be a quad GU, or a patch, etc in the box.
The reason we play is simply to trade off what we do not collect.
This is a FOOTBALL only box - if we like the game, I'll start a BASEBALL box later.
