I was hoping that you didn't have a lot of the cards that I sent you. When i went to shop at my LCS for you, my original thought was that your list was going to be easy but it took me some time to find the teams in my LCS's boxes.

If you ever seen Mythbusters, where Adam says we'll be drinking Mimosasa's at the beach. I was thinking it was going to be that easy. (and in the episode it wasn't)

You did pretty well. All of those numbered cards I didnt have. Also I didnt have either jersey card. Would have liked to see some ink but overall you did well.

I have gotten my Secret thingey!

..And its from my arch "nemesis" Capt. James T. SantaKirk!

I am therefore expecting it to be a one way ticket to Citi Alpha 5 or at least a trap, explosive device etc.. cause its HUGE! Like a brick!

And Im being asked ever so kindly by my fiancé to open it. (And when I say kindly, I mean it has to be today cause shes curious)

Glad it got there before Christmas. Don't worry it's not an explosive device (I haven't figured out how to outfox customs on that one). I wanted to make sure the fun contents were well protected for an overseas trip.

My wife has told me that a secret Santa package from Florida has arrived at my house.

OK I am going to open my package early, I was going to wait till Christmas Eve, tomorrow, but I need something positive right now So I am opening now....(takes a few minutes of real time, just a few seconds of post reading time)...

Wow a couple of NICE Baseball PCs One Auto and one GU, wow I've got to scan the GU possible COTM entry (maybe better than the 4 color Jose Reyes 2008 Masterpieces GU I pulled).... OK auto or GU first, well since I'm more of an AUTO guy I'll save that beaut for last.

The GU (since it has two players it is only half PC, guess I'll cut it in half and sell the NON PC part )
2003 Upper Deck SPX Combos C-RR Cal Ripken Jr. Orioles (the PC half) 3 color looks like it could be part of his name - a small stitch part of orange, white, orange, black and the Other guy (the NON-PC half) Scott Rolen Cardinals nice 2 color mostly red, then white. card is serial #d 86/90

OK now the Auto one of my fave old-time (UGH the 1960s are "Old-Time"? I am getting old) ALL-TIME fave players who I would love to see go to the Hall of Fame, but I just don't think his numbers are there and he was better at slugging than fielding (he was OK at fielding I guess but he is better known for his bat) FRANK HOWARD SENATORS 2012 Panini Leaf Limited Limited Greats 29 Auto on-sticker Blue sharpie (very neat sig as in penmanship) #d 195/299

Seeing all these packages way above the suggested minimum value is making me uneasy. I know I went over the value too! But not as over as some of the other Secret Santas. Me hopes the person I sent to likes my gift.

If anyone is unhappy with their gift it's likely because they don't understand what this is all about. It's about giving to help out a fellow collector. When I signed up I didn't care if I even got anything in return. I just had fun knowing that I could send something to someone else that they might could use for their PC. It's not about what I get, but about what I can give. I'd like to think everyone on TCZ, and especially those who joined this, feel the same way.
