It's no secret that I am a big Romo fan, so I couldn't be happier to see the Cowboys paying Romo to keep him around. I know there will be a lot of unhappy Cowboys fans, but not me. Let's just hope now that the Cowboys use some of the money they save on this year's cap, because of this deal, to go out and at least get 1 more lineman to help protect him and keep him from running for his life on every down.

I am also happy that they signed him. I have always been a supporter even though I thought that he would probably fair better in a situation with less pressure. Hopefully, we can finally put it all together and make a run in the playoffs, then mosy would quit critisizing.

I like Romo, I think hes a great QB, but the amount of money they paid him.. its like with Flacco, to be honest.. its nuts o_O

IMHO.... They overpaid....

Not having been in the discussions, I would have to agree. If that's what it took to keep him, though, I would have paid it. I, honestly, haven't seen any other available quarterbacks that the Cowboys had a realistic shot at grabbing the last few years that could be any better behind their o-line. In fact, I'd venture to say there are only a handful in the entire NFL that could be better behind this line.

That said, I'm biased because I've always been a big Romo fan. :D

Objectively, I agree. If Dallas wouldn't have paid it someone would have. Their O line does stink plus, Romo sells tickets, so its understandable.
