The base cards from each unclaimed team will be randomed between all members of the group. The low numbered inserts (/99 or less) and "hits" from those teams will be randomed, individually, between all members of the group. Having multiple owned teams does give you multiple entries in the unclaimed card random drawings.

Don't forget that today is the deadline for claiming owned teams and the auction will start at midnight tonight. Feel free to go ahead and send in your bids, via PM, but be aware that members still have until midnight tonight to take teams as owned teams.

Am I correct in that we won't know what the current bid is for each team since they are all being sent via PM? It won't be like eBay where it is visible to everyone and we can keep bidding that way?

That is correct. All bids should be sent to me via PM. I actually stole the idea from @Crpalmi's multi-sport break, and I feel like it could help generate a little more money for the break than if we did a public auction.

So you're saying show that a team has at least one bid but not show the value? I like that.

I also feel like having an idea of what we are going to break would help determine which teams to bid on, as different products have different checklists. Just a thought...

I'll get some box options posted soon. I was going to wait because the bids will really open up our budget, but you make a good point about teams being worth more based on box selection. I'll try to get some options up tomorrow or Monday (at the latest). That would still leave a little time to get some last minute bids in before the deadline Tuesday night.

First of all let me start by saying that even though we have 2 less full slots than we usually do, because of the auction our budget is already more than it would have been had we kept our previous format and were full. So, we definitely made a good choice in switching to this format.

Not knowing what our budget will end up being after the auction, it's tough to really finalize box selections but here are a few to choose from. Each of these is more than what our budget is now, but I'm assuming we get more bids.
