yeah, my phone is blowing up...Adam Schefter tweeted it about an hour ago I guess...since then my phone and facebook have been going nuts, and the Chicago news opened with a huge wreck on the interstate and then went to Cutler being benched...
Bears put themselves in a terrible spot...not only did they give 2 firsts and change to get him, and let me tell you, there was TONS of excitement going around campus when that happened...but then, after injury and not accomplishing a ton, instead of hitting him with the Franchise tag and paying him less for 1 season, instead they gave him a HUGE contract with $54 guaranteed in it, now the Bears will have a HUGE cap hit to get rid of him, because no one will pick up his current contract, and no one will offer anything in trade...
