so if you follow sports at all, in between the wife beating and child beating news, there was the bad tipper story...

well, the receipt his hit eBay...and has gotten a couple bids...

ok, I get that it gets publicity, but with the seller not taking the time to set up 'pre approved bidders' (which is done on a number of high end auctions) there is no way he gets paid, and instead gets a huge bill from eBay and the hassle of dealing with idiots and whatnot...

I get that the late 90's and early 2000's some casino was buying weird stuff for crazy money...the jesus grilled cheese, chips shaped like famous people...but back then it was easy to find out who the buyers were...now you are just a jerk that isn't going to pay...

Seller: Member since: Nov 17, 2009 ....0 feedback as a Seller or a Buyer....Seller may not be real either ;) lol........that or the restaurant trying to recoup some of the money they lost when they posted that and it backfired on them, as many folks said "I'd be pissed if they posted my receipt online, I won't ever eat there ever again" kind of responses along with the "food/service sucks there so I can see that" ones lol.

ESPN SportsNation did a bit on this story...apparently they thought that the high bidder was actually going to pay...idiots

CNBC also did a thing on it...same thoughts...seriously?

and I don't like when Beadle isn't on SN, pretty sure she would have called BS

They need to pay some of us for being "reality" consultants ;) tell them when they way out beyond left field (like in the parking lot) in their reporting.

I have a degree in broadcast journalism...mainstream media has their own agenda, if you don't/wont follow, you wont be hired or you will be fired...

It appeared that way to me, guess most don't see it (the lemmings on FB and elsewhere on the net that believe/base reality/judge things by anything they read, like that Insurance Commercial "they can't put anything not true on the internet"). Granted some more extreme than others IMHO, Fox and their "Fair and Balanced" I must be missing the balance somehow lol and no comment on the first part ;). Though guess it has been that way a long time, even back to Newspaper Media, as who the "Parent Company" was for the local papers seemed to affect which way they leaned or were more apt to lean in their reporting. Same as many folks seem to come to an conclusion before getting any or all of the facts in anything trending, along with the Trolls that just there to Troll, makes me not want to read any comments on stories/things online anymore. But guess I'm not "normal/average/what have you" anymore, as I only see the value in that item for his AU (which probably doesn't sell very high anyway) personally and IMHO looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen, I know that any local business were to throw anything confidential like that out there they wouldn't be getting my business as that is so wrong on so many levels IMHO.
